Advice & Coding
What You Will Find
Do It Yourself
Web Design advice and coding. If you want to create, design, develop, and maintain your website, I have plenty of tips and information for the “DIY-er.”
You can successfully build your professional-looking website while staying within the recommended standards of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). The W3C is an international organization where Member organizations, full-time staff, and the public collaborate to develop Web standards, such as accessibility, device, and browser compatibility.
Website pages include HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript code. Important design should focus on creating a stress-free user experience with familiar navigation prompts. What’s more, gone are the days of static web pages. Today, visitors access interactive websites across various browsers and electronic devices of multiple sizes. Web design and development is so much more than “drag and drop” and WYSIWYG (“what you see is what you get”)!
Python Coding
In addition, I recently started the #100 Days of Code Challenge. My projects include programming in Python. Why?
Python is currently the most popular programming language and recently overtook Java. Its popularity has grown mainly due to its simple coding that non-programmers can use. Internet surfers can find Python code in almost every industry and science field.
I tend toward this programming language’s back-end web development and web framework applications.
Feel free to follow along for more web design advice and coding help as I write articles detailing my journey to expanding my knowledge in Python.
Computer Troubleshooting
Recently, I expanded the blog posts to include frequent computer hardware and software problems. The articles tackle troubleshooting for Windows, iOS, and Linux Operating Systems and gaining the most out of your device hardware. Occasionally, I dive into computer networking and security concerns.
