This website redesign represents the travel business of Tammy and Edward Jolley E&T Jolley Travel Services, formerly 1st Class Travel.
Assessment.
The original website, created with the Wix website builder, presented a colorful website. However, it did not meet the client’s needs. They wished to attract potential travelers with all the options available for a successful and memorable travel adventure. In addition, creating a website with the free Wix website builder forces the use of “wixsite” within the domain name; often, domain names such as these appear unprofessional.
Improvement.
The new design using a WordPress template ensures the website user can explore travel opportunities through vacation packages or personalized trip planning while offering a clean, modern professional website.
Must Haves.
The client desired to offer a website with vivid earth tone colors, enticing imagery, a reservation form for scheduling meetings with potential clients, and current important travel information. The site includes a parallax scrolling design with a sticky header to attract a wide range of travelers. In addition, the logo design incorporates the “ultra-luxury” feel and the professionalism expected of a first-class travel agency. Crisp lines and black and gold colors give a high-end look. A portfolio and blog articles help customers better educate and visualize travel destinations.
Development.
Website development includes Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, accessibility, and validation conforming to W3C standards. A Secure Socket Layer (SSL) addresses security concerns. Sitelock for malware protection and Domain Name Privacy registration. Google analytics allows for measuring metrics on website usage.

Additions.
In 2022, the client desired to update the travel website by adding a survey form for customers to provide feedback. In addition, Ms. Jolley requested a redesign of her contact form and a separate private form that helps her gain additional information from clients on their specific travel needs.
The website includes essential policies reflective of her business interactions.
